Bumped into Ziz in town last night total fluke it was too and most enjoyable as always, he showed me this new soudscape/multimedia piece, in a lane off bourke st, very interesting it was indeed
what is not really appaent is that the laneway was quite dark and I was having heaps of trouble composing, may yet try and fix this all in photoshop?
more info on the laneways projects
[edit 06.07.09] with of course thanks to ziz for the heads up

Sacre Coeur Crypt 1

This picture looked a bit brighter in photoshop. The crypt was pretty dark – it’s where they kept both their fadeable artwork and the chairs that they didn’t use. Also, there were statues. No bodies, like I’d been led to believe. It was kind of neat anyway.

Another example of my Photoshop filter compositions. I like the way the light reflects in this one.

Cane Garden Bay Beach, Tortola, B.V.I.

My husband took this pic of me as I was wading in the beautiful Caribbean waters off the island of Tortola. Our cruise ship had docked for the day. We took a van ride to several locations. This was our favorite on the John Hagee /Jesse Duplantis cruise in June 2001. Scanned a photo from an "easy to use" Nikon film/zoom camera.

Fear

there was no greater satisfaction i got…then seeing the look in his eyes after reality set in
Took the photo using the macro setting on my Canon. The image was taken in a well lit area, with the flash. The iris did have some glare in the iris, but i got rid of it by using the clone stamp tool in Photoshop. I edited the photo a tad by fixing the color, and brightness etc in photoshop by the curves and color balance. The last step was that i cloned the original layer and used a soft light filter on the copied layer with opacity set to 100%.
