Star Trek Watch

My first attempt at using Photoshop CS3 to color in a drawing. The biggest problem was that this was an old drawing, and I drew it on lined paper and I had to erase all of those lines, which was insane. I will draw on better paper from now on. Also, I need to fine tune that way that Illustrator traces the drawing, so keep my original artwork style intact. But I do think that this came out pretty good for my first try. What do you all think??
Olga Kalamkarova COLOUR WHEELS ARTIST

Olga Kalamkarova began her artistic life with an interest in photography. After an operation to remove a tumor resulted in quadriplegia, Olga shifted her interest to digital imaging, finding Adobe Photoshop to be a suitable artistic medium. Olga uses a device designed by the Tetra Society of North America and engineering students from UBC that lets her lift her hands, allowing her to use photographic details to create “a new and different world.” “Life is about inspiration,” says Olga, “I try to reflect that in my artwork.”

Oil paint and Photoshop.
This is the banner I completed in February 2008 for Of Two Minds, authored by Shelley Batts and Steve Higgins and part of the Scienceblogs.com network.
There is a "making of" at a href="http://glendonmellow.blogspot.com/2008/09/artwork-mondays-of-two-minds-banner.html">The Flying Trilobite.
Head over to Of Two Minds: this blog is about neuroscience, parrots, science in popular culture and more.
