Commentary: (Mark Taylor) God created everything with function and order. Every species of animal was created with separate abilities and they were designed to carry out each function for living and surviving and they reproduced successfully their own kind. Evil-lutionist would love to brain wash us into believing that we evolved over millions of years from different species to the next, but nature does not show this happening (It will never happen, if it does happen we will never live long enough to see it), but what we do see are animals reproducing naturally in nature different kinds of the same species.
Genesis 1:21-25: And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
The next thing that we are led to believe is that we are animals?!?….God made the animals first, then He made man in His image, therefore if we are animals, we are calling God a liar! But God made man to have dominion over the animals. The animals do not have dominion over man (only in fictional books) and they are not trying to do that because….they are animals and they are functioning the way God created them to be.
Genesis 1:26-28: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
God created you in His image and He has a purpose for you. He did not create you to just live and die with no future or purpose. He wants to have a personal relationship with you. Mankind had that personal relationship with God in the garden, that relationship was broken by sin, but God prepared a way by sending Jesus Christ to take the punishment for our sin.
John 3:17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
